AUTOMATIC VEHICLE LOCATION AND FLEET MANAGEMENT USING MODERN TECHNOLOGIES

Abstract

This document indicates needs of using AVL systems based on GPS, GIS, GPRS and other modern technologies to locate and managing our fleet. Next pages using example of very good organizational AVL system structure and system’s functions (PAUK system) and example of AVL system architecture (InfoskyTrack System), both domestic made systems, proves that every millimetre of move of our vehicle and employee is possible to digitize and visualize, and it is very important to our complete business. All adventages and reasons why company should use these systems are summarized below. Reasons why those systems are not fully practically applicable here, are summarized in the end of this paper.
