This paper deals with the application of adaptive methods and techniques in E-education with a view of personalizing educational process. In order to overcome the deficiency of generally accepted adaptive software for E-education, a compromise solution is suggested, i.e. a personalized educational process on the level of characteristic students’s clusters. It is based on LMS Moodle, free open-source system, which is, in this paper, adapted only in the field of applied methodology. The suggested adaptive model is adapted to the conditions of Higher Educational System in Serbia.
