Abstract

B2B (Business-to-Business) networks are complex and distributed systems with silos of diverse information that is very difficult to integrate and analyze. In order to be able to register events in real-time and react with optimal set of actions, B2B networks need to be adaptive in processes, collaborative in relations, and above all to use business intelligence (BI) in order to make more quality decisions. In this paper, business intelligence system that begins with developed B2B process model and metrics as the basis for design of data warehouse and analytical systems. The composite BI application model is described, as well as the BI portal which enables establishing of collaborative work environment that seamlessly connects individuals, teams and organization into virtual workspace. Users can manage business processes and make decisions based on timely and relevant information.
