Abstract
Development of contemporary technologies and improvement of educational means provide better possibilities and new quality of mathematics teaching. This study points out the difference between traditional teaching (methodical triangle) and technologically enriched contemporary teaching (methodical tetrahedral). At first, the aims of mathematics teaching are analyzed, with the given examples, following that new trends and technologies in contemporary mathematics teaching are presented. The study objective is to point out the existent electronic mathematical resources adjusted to the age of children attending primary school lower levels and to demonstrate that learning mathematics can be funnier and more flexible comparing to the traditional approach. The study shows a range of examples intended for the development of logical thinking in lower grades pupils.
