Abstract

Contemporary business systems today lean towards Enterprise Content Management as an integrated solution designed to manage key organization data. implementing document management system in modern e-government business system has to eliminate redundant information/activity, improve information flow and to protect intellectual asset which resides within organization data. The more effective business process management has been based on e-platform for information management and business process automation (EMC Documentum), by providing General Secretariat of the Government of the Republic of Serbia opportunity to create an efficient, effective and economic system for administrative, technical and document oriented activities. The most visible achievement of mentioned process modernisation is electronic session of Serbian Government.
