Abstract
KML and KMZ standards for the description of geo-3D scene are analyzed in this paper, the possibilities of Google SkechUp and Google Earth tools for generating and displaing surface model (DSM) are outlined and aspects of acquisition of necessary data are explored. Case study of the usage of tools was carried out in the zone „Campus UNS”.
