A METHODOLOGICAL FRAMEWORK FOR DEVELOPMENT OF COMPLEX IS AND INTEGRATION OF BUSINESS PROCESSES

Abstract

Development based on Enterprise Architecture is a general methodological approach for development of complex information systems where an organization’s business model and its business processes are tightly related with software architectures and implementation models. This paper presents a methodological framework which combines this general approach with Model Driven Development, UMM business process modeling methodology and Service Oriented Architectures. This methodological framework is especially suitable for integration of heterogeneous business processes, their analysis, modeling and implementation. The proposed methodological framework, developed in the Laboratory of Information Systems of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, is successfully applied in several large information system development projects.
