Abstract

This paper presents Doji Star web application for candlestick pattern recognition on financial markets. These patterns are a special method of financial technical analysis, with the aim of identifying psychological pattern in behaviour of stock market participants. The application uses interpolative logical models as mathematical tool for fuzzy modelling of candlestick patterns. These models are based on interpolative Boolean algebra and are able to idetify patterns using real-valued gradation. Within this application, interpolative logical models are implemented as technical indicators and displayed separatedly, beneath price charts. Doji Star application was created using Javascript, Vaadin and Spring technology. In this paper, we present practical use of Doji Star application for candlestick pattern identification on the example of Airport Nikola Tesla Belgrade stocks.
