MUTUAL PERTINENCE OF ERP SOLUTION IN CIVIL ENGINEERING DEVELOPMENT AND CIVIL ENGINEERING IN ERP SOLUTION DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The paper starts with the assumptions that a civil engineering company increasingly needs the information support and that this support may come from an ERP system containing functionalities specially developed for civil engineering. It shows that a civil engineering project is a perfect object for modeling through an information system, owing this to its inherent highly developed structure. A solution developed upon the Avizo ERP system is presented and a wide variety of possibilities for its further development is analyzed.
