The advancement of information and communication technologies has resulted in the increasing use of advanced computers with advanced computing and communication skills. Database systems are everywhere, and they are not only used to store data, but also provide resources for accessing, updating, handling and analyzing data. This paper presents database systems, database management systems, basic concepts related to Java object-oriented programming, and development of Java applications, exclusively for those using on-line databases.
