Abstract
Few years ago on a designers Web pages and people who develop applications on the Web, we can notice trend of new kind of Web applications. This trend expands and continues to professional conferences, lectures and user groups in Serbia, were we talk about Web applications, Single-Page Applications that are in proportion to its interactivity very similar to desktop applications. Single-Page Applications are Web applications that can be seen as progress in rich Internet applications based on Ajax technology. Although Ajax technology is not new technology, very few studies and scientific papers dealing with its impact on the usability aspects of a Web applications. Usability aspects of Web applications is often overlooked by programmers and people who develop the Web, because they are more focused on what the new technology can be done. Therefore, it often happens that certain Web applications, although functionally excellent, just do not use, because users leave the Web site. The basis of the aforementioned problems are learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors and satisfaction as usability components specified Web application. The basic idea of this paper is to try to examine the usability aspects of the Single-Page Application, to analyze them and to suggest certain principles that can be used as an example of best practice.
