HIGH AVAILABILITY OF THE INFORMATION SYSTEM

Abstract

It is the connection of business to the Internet that has greatly changed the way companies work. It has lead to new expectations of business processes such as better connection, higher flexibility, and, most importantly high availability. Basic demands on the data base are data security and high availability in the case of any downtime. In order to provide high availability it is necessary to provide high availability of the entire system. High availability represents information system where all the information are mostly ready and available to use. Oracle and SQL Server bases are represented as for achieving a system of high availability of the information system and are one of the most widely used data bases today. Within this work also, examples of unplanned notices, along with automatisation of base role transfer process, are represented.
