Abstract

The aim of this paper is to show that using the method of spectral analysis of shaft voltage, based on the use of the software package Testpoint, can get satisfactory results in monitoring of cage rotor induction motors. And that the application of these methods can determine the causes of the current, which can cause damage to the motor bearings through that fl ow. The paper also listed the limitations and advantages of this diagnostic method.
