NFC TECHNOLOGY AND POSSIBILITIES OF ITS PRACTICAL APPLICATION

Abstract

NFC is wireless short range technology which is developed from existing RFID technology. It enables two devices to communicate at distance up to 10 centimetres. Main advantage of this technology lies in the possibility of its implementation in mobile phones. In this way, user is given the opportunity that many things, which he carry every day, such as payment cards, tickets, keys, identification documents, etc., replace with mobile phone. By combining NFC technology built into mobile phones and the tag or reader which can be placed at different locations, mobile device gets a lot of new functionality.
