Abstract

B2B (Business-to-Business) integration is the XML (eXtensible Markup Language)-based integration that enables the secure exchange of business information over the Internet in real time. Interoperability is the ability of two systems or components to exchanging information and usage the exchanged information. Semantic interoperability provides that some two systems in communicating interpret common or shared data in a consistent manner. The paper reviews existing models of semantic interoperability which are based on ontologies. The basic concepts of cloud computing technologies as a relatively new computing paradigm are shown. The characteristics of cloud computing environments in terms of B2B integration have been analyzed. The possibilities of the known methods of integration in B2B cloud computing environment have been considered. In this paper we propose the models of B2B integration of business systems in the cloud computing technology environment. The proposed models allow implementation of various B2B integration scenarios involving existing local applications and databases as well as databases and applications from the cloud.
