Abstract
Majority of data that companies utilize can be treated as unstructured knowledge. This term describes different documents that are not electronically readable, images that carry information that is not searchable, as well as video and audio materials. Biggest issue with managing intellectual capital is extraction of knowledge according to current needs of the business process. This paper is focused on the problem of transferring unstructured knowledge in to structured form in order to simplify integration in to the system for intellectual capital management. We gave a review of open source systems that are introduced as tools for fulfilling the transformation process during the introducing of system for intellectual capital management in Energoprojekt Holding.
